AlakaSam has been performing comedy magic and twisting balloon sculptures for over 40 years! AlakaSam has performed for countless private parties and public events all over the United States. Appearances include Starbucks, Microsoft, City of Seattle, Boys and Girls Clubs, Ballard Seafood Festival, Christmas party for the children and Governor of St. John, USVI, Chimicum Salmon Festival, Safeway grand openings and corporate events including holiday parties.
Licensed and insured, AlakaSam is a proud member of the S.A.M. (Society of American Magicians).

Magic Mastery by AlakaSam
While studying education and natural resources at Cornell University, Sam created a magic course curriculum and conducted an epistemological study of magic. Sam has worked as an educator for more than 40 years and for 24 years was the Lead Teacher with the Pacific Science Center's Science On Wheels program presenting hands-on science activities and shows to communities throughout Washington State. While teaching science for Pacific Science Center, Sam created and presented science magic tricks. AlakaSam's Beginnings
Sam Chamberlain is AlakaSam the Magician! AlakaSam started studying and practicing magic when he was 10 years old. He was an apprentice magician for five years at Howard’s House of Hocus Pocus in Buffalo, New York. He was the assistant to the shop’s owner Howard Eldridge at magic performances and demonstrated and sold magic tricks to customers at the shop. By age 11, AlakaSam was performing on his own!
